Cheat Sheet - Mils/Meters
Cheat Sheet - Mils/Meters
Designed to work in conjunction with a calculator, the CHEAT SHEET has the dimensions of 17 items common to both rural, urban and suburban Europe, and a Wind Drift compass for aiding in wind calls. To most bowlers, the value of a passive, solar powered, signal free, low cost ranging device like a Sharp Calculator with a Cheat Sheet is self-evident, but to those uninitiated bowlers, allow Walter to lay it out for you. This system allows you to range targets accurately with little more than a mil scope and a bit of know-how, all while maintaining a low signature and not relying on batteries. Take the known size of an object in inches from the Cheat Sheet, multiply it by a constant, 25.4, and then divide that number by the observed size in Mils and whala you have a range estimate that's close enough for bowling work. With the range figured out, a bowler will then reference his homework, hold and throw a strike or a spare. Walter runs a cheat sheet on most of his rifle stocks, both collapsible and fixed and on the body of his precision scopes.
